A traditional game of Baccarat consists of cards ranging from 1-9, all of which gave points as their face value, while the face cards –which include 10, King, Jack and Queen- have zero points. The main aim behind the game is to get a value which is closer towards a total of 9 (by adding all the cards in the pre-decided hands – 2 or more). In case the total value reaches a total after their 10th place, then the value to be considered is the total minus 10.
A maximum of 12 players can play the game at a time. The casino in the game is considered to be the banker, whereas the highest better is the game is given the designation of the Player. People have three options of betting – first one is that the player wins, second one is that the Banker wins, and the third one is the case of a tie. When the bets are complete, 2 cards are distributed each to the Player and the Banker, face down. After that the cards are checked the croupier (refers to the casino employee who oversees and supervises the game), who then announces the total and the winner.
Since Baccarat totally depends on the kind of totals one gets, it is considered to be the most unpredictable game. Yet, its unpredictable nature is exactly what makes it extremely famous and popular.
