Most Expensive Christmas Decoration

The most expensive Christmas decoration is coated with precious gems and worth a pricey £82,000. This unique handcrafted tree decor was made in a tiny Hampshire village jeweller.

The most expensive Christmas decoration is made of 18-carat white gold and set with more than one thousand five-hundred gorgeous diamonds, it is bounded by two elegant rings that feature one-hundred eighty-eight red rubies. The craftsmen took a year to design and make the most expensive Christmas decoration. The most expensive Christmas decoration was conceptualize by Mark Hussey, the owner of Hallmark Jewellers.

Hallmark Jewellers is a 30-year-old family business based in South Street. Hallmark Jewellers was founded in 1979 by Ian and Mark Hussey. Hallmark Jewellers initially showcased its work in hotels and at craft fares. They have since expanded and our shop and jewellery workshop are at the present in the peaceful location of Titchfield Village, Hampshire. Our team-run trade is devoted to creating and producing modern designs with the definitive in craftsmanship.

Mark Hussey said: “It was never about the value of the bauble, we just wanted to do something special for Christmas.

“It was more about making something unique, but as we researched other amazing baubles we discovered the most expensive one was £26,874. We thought, why not see if we can beat it but we were bowled over when it was valued at £82,000.

“I literally started working on it the day after Boxing Day, it really has been a year in the making.

“It’s not really about whether we can sell it or not, we want it for a centrepiece for the shop. It would be absolutely fantastic if we could find the right person to buy it.”

“But if I’m honest, if it’s still here on Christmas Eve I’d love to put it on our Christmas tree.”

The most expensive Christmas decoration has a snowflake-cut outline among a hallmarked 18-carat white gold sphere hand crafted with one thousand five hundred seventy eight stunning diamonds.

The most expensive Christmas decoration comes in a bespoke handcrafted timber box complete with a stand and has been separately valued by the National Association of Goldsmiths.

The most expensive Christmas decoration was inspired by a snowflake Mark Hussey drew on December 27, 2008. , which was then hand imprinted onto a silver dome in his village workshop. The pieces were then brought to Hatton Garden, the centre of London’s jewellery trade since medieval times, in London’s Jewellery Quarter, where two 18-carat white gold halves were cast.

After they went down back in Titchfield, a village in southern Hampshire, located by the River Meon, they were fused using laser, a mould made and an 18-carat white gold version created.

Small holes were drilled out of the baubles then precisely raised for the shiny diamonds until the most expensive Christmas decoration was encrusted in gems.

The beautiful orbiting rings were hand crafted from a length of 18-carat fat gold wire wrought into a round bangle and surrounded with one hundred eighty eight sparkling rubies.

A Guinness World Records spokesman said: “We would certainly like to hear from the owners so we can investigate this more.”
