The trick involved grabbing chips off the layout when they lost, prior to the dealer sweeping them away. By concealing $5,000 casino chips under $5 casino chips on the 2 to 1 column bets. This trick is best done by slightly slanting the $5 chips inward in the direction of the dealer to cleverly disguise the chip). This nets $10,010 each time bets are won while only losing $10 when bets are lost. Once the dealer slides three red chips into the player’s three red chips, the players left hand deftly eases out of the betting circle as he scoops up the original three red chip, while his right hand lays in two purple $500 chips with á red-chip on top precisely where the three original chips had been. In one swift move, the red chips are dumped into his pocket, while the right goes after the dealer’s hand and taps it. The player then goes into his claim, showing both his hands palms-up which are now completely empty. His three purple $500 backup chips are also in plain view.
At present, Richard Marcus is retired from his casino cheating career. Being recognized as an authority in casino cheats, he now conducts training and seminars to casino staffs, which includes card dealers, floor personnel and surveillance officers.
