It’s basically a zero sum game played between two players. The game allows for a deck of just three cards. One player is required to deal a card each and place their bets or passes accordingly. The 1st player has to compulsorily place a bet, whereas the 2nd may or may not. But if the opposite player asks him, he has to place his call so as to stay in the game.
After the bets are placed by both the players in the game, the player who has got the highest card wins. There are lot of strategies to win the game and preferably your own should work the best. It’s always easy if you can read the mind of the opposite player. The 1st player usually always has an upper hand in a round of Kuhn Poker.
Another such two player game is “Pontoon” which is a customized version of the famous card game blackjack. It can be played by a minimum of 2 players. However a total of 8 people can join together. Usually more people mean more fun. The game of “Pontoon” is very similar to blackjack but with a few exceptions like you don’t have a dealer here and each player takes turn to be the banker. Again, the maximum hand is the combination of an ace and any one of the ten value cards. The next possible combination is any five cards which totals to a less then 21. This is also known as “five card trick”.
There are numerous such games which can be played among family members to spend quality time and have fun. Activities such as this is great way to bind the family as one.
