There are many card games that can be played by two players. However, the War and the Split are two of the most popular and probably, among the simpler of the games one can play. These games are described below:
War
The war uses a typical card deck that is Anglo American in style. The entire deck is divided equally between the players and each player has a face down stack. Almost in unison, every player discloses respective top card on the corresponding stack (also known as battle), while the player who has higher card goes to take all the cards that are played and also moves these down to the stack bottom.
If the couple of cards that are played happen to be of equal value, then every player will lay down 3 face-downs and a fourth face-up (a “war”) in the form of a card, and of these, the card that is higher-valued will win all the cards that are there on table, which in turn are added right to the stack bottom of the player. In the event of a new tie, the process of war gets repeated till the point there is no tie.
A player can win only by getting all cards. In the event a player exhausts all cards, the player can employ last card in the deck as the face-up card and can still have a chance to survive in the game.
Each time the cards are given the result to War it is still not entirely decided because of little variations in how the cards are given back to playing arena. Even if no shuffling takes place, the outcome of the game can be controlled. The unpredictability and the uncertain nature of the game are its biggest advantages as it really gets the adrenaline flowing of a player.
Split
Split is kind of game of cards in which every player will get to regulate two stacks of cards. The objective is clearly for a participant to obtain the same score finally in all of the stacks of cards. In the event of this happening, the player who has the same score will get to receive the benefits of a very big score when the hand finally comes to an end. However, players who have not been able to have the same total in their stacks will naturally have a relatively lower total. This game does not really need you to be a big strategist like some of the other card games and these are great for some good time passing, especially if you happen to wait somewhere for a very long time, like the airport.
The War and Split games are two of the most favorite games one can play. These games bring to you a combination of enjoyment and strategizing as you want to have a flavor of both. These games have evolved with the times and the introduction of new rules has made these games more challenging.
